1936 Ford Model 68 5-Window Coupe

Original MSRP price in 1936 $510

Purchased in 1992 in Munroe, Washington USA for $4000 and transported to Kamloops, BC Canada.

Complete car not running at the time. John Nurse in Kamloops, BC completed the front end and firewall. Colin Sparks in Kamloops, BC built new floor and gas tank and completed some body work. Throughout the years owner Terry Harvey continued to make progress.....slowly as his pet project.

In 2017 the car was taken to Nanoose Bay, BC to owner's son Brock Harvey for completion. Brock proceeded to take out everything that was done previously and redo it all! With new technology available all the bells and whistles were put in:

ABOUT THE BUILDER

Brock Harvey

Originally from Kamloops, BC relocated to Nanoose Bay, BC

Brock always had an aptitude for taking things apart and putting them back together. His career started out in custom stereo and alarm system installations for cars and marine vessels. Building custom speakers and sub-woofer boxes. Customizing his own vehicles either lowering or lifting them and always with state of the art sound systems. He then moved on to become a Journeyman Electrician. Over the years continued to learn different skills, helping friends with various projects.

In 2017, decided to take on this long time project from Dad to fulfil the life long dream of completing it. Taking what had been done and essentially redoing it from scratch. Completing the bodywork, custom paint in black cherry color (House of Color Paint), custom upholstery & headliner, installing heated seats, building the custom fabricated dashboard, custom one off flush door handles, shaved door hinges and motorized trunk including all custom stereo work. Rebuilding the 305 TPI engine, installing the running gear, disc brakes, 8" to Ford 9" rear end with posi traction and 3.55 gears, parallel four bar suspension, coil over adjustable shock suspension, air conditioning, back up camera, power antenna, frenched driving and rear tail lights, custom rims and tires.

This car is a showstopper and turns heads wherever it rolls.
